The Healer Book Review
Written by C. J. Anaya
So let me start out with how I liked the book...I really enjoyed reading this book. It was very interesting and well detailed and descriptive. I was able to see the events happening in the book, and that for me is a big plus.
This was a quick read (3 days) for me but I found myself reading parts to understand the book and process the information because I lost myself in the book. I found myself wanting to read more of it. It was a totally 'page turner' book. I fought it interesting that the characters back story's are shown to the reader further in the book and not just blurted out in the beginning of it. It gives a sense of 'I have to find out' which in return makes the reader read more. Good one C. J. Anaya!
SPOILERS (BEWARE!)
One thing that was a little disappointing was the fact that Angie, Hope's best friend, isn't incorporated within the plot better. I feel like C. J. Anaya could have used Angie's powers within the plot (I don't know if this happens in the next books though but I'm eager to read the next books anyways). I think having Angie's power used more or better explained would have helped the story. Angie's power doesn't really mix well with the whole Healing powers of the other characters have, but I'm interested in finding out what will happen.
END OF SPOILERS
I really look forward to readin the next books! Thanks for creating such interesting characters and stories C. J. Anaya!! Let me know if it sounds interesting or if you have read it. Enjoy.
